Abstract

Abstract. The article considers the current problem of determining the state of professional readiness of future aviation specialists in the process of obtaining their education in higher education institutions of aviation profile. It is emphasized that the formation of professional readiness is one of the key conditions for increasing the effectiveness of future professional activity and ensuring an adequate level of safety in the aviation industry. The author analyzes the achievements of modern psychological and pedagogical science in understanding the phenomenon of human readiness for work, its structure, dynamics and assessment criteria. It is emphasized that professional readiness is interpreted as a subjective state of an individual who considers himself capable of performing professional tasks and seeks to realize his capabilities in a specific field of activity.

Particular attention is focused on a comprehensive approach to diagnosing the readiness of applicants for higher education in the aviation field, which is based on three criteria: motivational, procedural and effective. The research used methods of questionnaires, testing, individual interviews, which allowed to identify the specifics of professional orientations, interests, future specialists, as well as the formation of competencies necessary for future activities. The results obtained indicate the prevalence of an average level of development of professional readiness in the majority of applicants. Thus, a significant part of the respondents demonstrates external motivation for learning, does not actively perform creative tasks, avoids public forms of knowledge presentation and does not show a stable interest in independent deepening of professional training.

Analysis of the performance criterion showed that the respondents have formed general and special competencies at an average level, which does not fully meet the requirements of the professional activity of an aviation specialist. The conclusions emphasize that increasing the level of professional readiness requires comprehensive pedagogical measures aimed at strengthening internal motivation, developing independent work, forming reflective skills and orientation towards professional improvement. The results of the study have practical significance for the development of methodological recommendations and educational programs of the aviation profile, which will allow to improve the quality of training of future aviation specialists, whose activities are directly related to ensuring flight safety.
