RADUL Valerii, RADUL Olha CORRELATION BETWEEN SELF-REALIZATION ANDSELF-ACTUALIZATION OF PERSONALITY

Abstract

Self-development and self-realization in the structure of ontogenesis are independent, but also «objectively» conditioned and inseparable in their manifestation processes. They are subject to the general laws of the «individual» development in ontogenesis, in particular to the laws of the development of the «subjectivity» of the «subject», its «subjectivity» and «self» as basic properties of human systemic certainty. Meanwhile, both processes of a person's «self-construction», which are condition for his / her reproduction and development, reflection of his / her existence and the reproduction of the «social world», have internal specificity and regularities. They are determined by the specifics of the direction of development of each of them – self-in-self for self in one case and self-among others for self through others. This consists in realizing oneself not only as a carrier, but also as a creator of the social in another.

The real possibilities of self-realization in its optimal representation are revealed during adulthood, when its development occurs at a new level of human realization in society as a real «subject» of development. A person's need for creative self-realization in specific «socially significant» and «socially valued» activity, the need for creative self-expression and self-realization for oneself through the representation of one's abilities to society and the real acceptance of such representation by others with the need implies a real possibility of its fulfillment. This possibility is provided by the real «position» of an adult in society, which «objectively» participates in its reproduction, by the degree and level of his / her physical, psychological, social and spiritual development.

In the process of self-realization, the need of the «individual» to realize his / her «personal», «individual» creative impulse is expressed. It is also important to realize oneself in a real achievement that is significant for one and is combined with the need to have one's achievement accepted by others and society as something truly socially consequential and socially valued, the need to be involved in the whole, to participate in the reproduction of the social, giving it one's «I», to take place in human belonging as a real carrier of the social.
