Abstract

Abstract. The article provides a comprehensive analysis of innovative trends in the development of robotics in the world and in Ukraine, taking into account current global and national challenges. Special attention is paid to the application of robotics in the aviation industry and its integration into higher education, particularly in the training of future aviation specialists. The study highlights key areas of development, including the integration of artificial intelligence into autonomous systems, the use of collaborative and humanoid robots in aircraft maintenance, ecological and energy-efficient innovations, as well as the scaling of swarms of unmanned aerial vehicles and ground robotic platforms.

It is shown that robotics functions not only as an educational tool but also as a means of interdisciplinary integration, combining engineering, information technologies, natural and humanitarian sciences. This forms a new paradigm of professional training focused on working with autonomous systems, UAVs, and intelligent control complexes. The article emphasizes the special importance of robotics for Ukraine in the context of war, when its development becomes not only a technological but also a defense priority.

The study concludes that the implementation of innovative robotics in higher aviation education equips students not only with technical knowledge but also with competencies in strategic thinking, management of complex network systems, and ecological responsibility. This creates the prerequisites for preparing competitive specialists capable of ensuring the sustainable development of the aviation industry and strengthening Ukraine’s national security in the global dimension.
